Fantasy Football Sit ‘Em: Robby Anderson (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images)

SIT ‘EM

Wide Receiver. Jets. Robby Anderson. 3. player. 30.

Robby Anderson has been my guy this season and he’s deserved all of that praise thrown his way. This week, however, don’t start him.

It’s not Anderson‘s fault that his quarterback was injured last week in Denver, but now he’ll have Bryce Petty as his quarterback and that should not instill confidence in anyone. Petty is not a good quarterback and despite all of Anderson’s success this season, he’s not a viable starting option this week.

Last week, Petty went just two of nine for 14 yards. Anderson had three catches for 27 yards in what was an embarrassing loss for the New York Jets.

With McCown likely done for the season, Anderson is no longer a must start at the wide receiver position. Hopefully he wasn’t your best player or you might be in big trouble.
