The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the win column and still sit atop the AFC West after a 26-15 beatdown of the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead.

The Kansas City Chiefs got back to their winning ways on Sunday and at one time led 26-0 before the Raiders tacked on some garbage time points in the fourth quarter. This was a much needed win for Kansas City, who now at 7-6, continue to control their own destiny as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Earlier when these two teams met in Oakland on Thursday Night Football, it came down to the wire. Many thought this game had a chance to be a repeat of that game, but the Chiefs dominated from the get-go.

This was a nice piece of revenge for the Chiefs, but Derek Carr has proven that he cannot perform well at Arrowhead, now dropping to 0-4 there during his career. He’s 2-6 against the Chiefs, with both wins coming in Oakland on Thursday night games. Hmmm.

Anyway, a win is a win and this was a pretty dominant victory for the Kansas City Chiefs in what was a game they couldn’t afford to lose. Before we get into the rest of the season, let’s hand out the grades from this game. Who passed and who failed? Let’s find out.

A-. . . . CHRIS JONES

Chris Jones had been disappointing for the most part of the season, but he had a great day on Sunday for the Chiefs. Jones ended the day with a sack on Derek Carr and also had two hits on the Raiders quarterback.

In a week where the defense needed to step up (especially after being embarrassed by the Jets last week, WHO GOT SHUT OUT by the Broncos), Jones led the way for an impressive outing. Let’s hope he can continue to show up big for the Chiefs defense as the regular season winds down.
