Fantasy Football 2017: Thursday Night Football Start Em, Sit Em Week 14
SIT ‘EM
I was pretty pumped when I landed Willie Snead as a late round pick in my fantasy draft this summer. Instead, I ended up dropping him by the fourth or fifth week of the season. He has been a crushing disappointment for New Orleans after a huge season in 2016.
Snead has yet to find the end zone this season.
Snead has struggled with injuries (and he was suspended to start the year), but for anyone who drafted him and expected to slot him in as a WR1 or WR2, they’ve been let down for sure. He’s been overshadowed by newcomers Ted Ginn and by Brandon Coleman.
For all of those reasons above, Snead is not worth starting on Thursday night. The good news for anyone still holding onto Snead is that he had his best game last week. The bad news is that was a two catch performance for 31 yards.
Snead has yet to find the end zone this season and with so many other weapons for Brees to rely on, Willie Snead is no longer a good start for fantasy football purposes.
