If Drew Brees is due for a big day, then that means Michael Thomas is too. Thomas had been putting up good numbers throughout the beginning of the season, but hadn’t found the end zone since week four when the Saints were in London.
He had five receptions for 70 yards and a score last week against a good Panthers defense. This week against the Falcons should be a good match-up for Thomas. The Falcons defense did a decent job with stopping the Vikings receivers from having a big day last week, but the Saints are a different offense.
Expect him to be a big factor for New Orleans on Thursday night.
Thomas is the top option for Brees and he’s had several fantastic outings so far this season. His best game came against Buffalo a few weeks ago where he had nine receptions for over 100 yards receiving.
Thomas probably won’t go off for quite that much, but expect him to be a big factor for New Orleans on Thursday night.
