Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 13
SIT ‘EM
Even though trading for Jay Ajayi was a great move for the Eagles, he hasn’t been dominating as much as some people thought he would be. Last week he had just five carries for 26 yards in an absolute rout of the Bears. He fumbled the ball before reaching the end zone too, which might have had something to do with his limited amount of action.
LeGarrette Blount was Philadelphia’s back of choice last weekend, as he got 15 carries for 97 yards. It’s a bit of a toss-up when figuring out which Eagles running back will get the bulk of the carries, which is something that works against starting Ajayi on a week to week basis.
This week’s match-up is not a favorable one for the Eagles run game, as the Birds will head to Seattle for a date with the Seahawks. Seattle’s run defense has been one of the best in the league and have not allowed a big game from a running back since week four.
The Eagles could definitely win this game, but it’ll be through the air and not on the ground. Don’t expect Jay Ajayi to put up big numbers this week.
