Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 13
Fantasy football playoffs are beginning in some leagues this week and hopefully you’re in strong position to contend for a championship!
The end of the NFL season is winding down and with that, so is fantasy football season. It’s been a whirlwind of a season filled with crazy upsets, surging players, and a whole lot of mediocrity within the league.
Week 13 provides a chance for new teams to grab hold of their divisions and last ditch efforts for struggling squads. This is a big week for a lot of NFL teams and for fantasy football owners. Whether you’re in the playoffs or not, week 13 is critical.
Before we get to the Starts and Sits for week 13, let’s dive into my biggest hit and biggest miss from last week’s slate of games.
LEIGH’S HIT OF THE WEEK – STARTING TEVIN COLEMAN
Tevin Coleman stepped up for the Falcons last weekend. He had 19 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns on the day against the Buccaneers. He delivered for his fantasy owners for sure.
LEIGH’S MISS OF THE WEEK – STARTING JARED COOK
Jared Cook can be extremely frustrating at times for those owners who have him in fantasy football. One week he’ll go off for over 100 yards with a score and other weeks, like this latest, he’ll have just one reception for one yard. With a Broncos defense that can’t cover tight ends, I figured Cook would explode on the scene, but that did not happen.
We have just five games remaining this season, so let’s get into the fifth to last fantasy football start/sit post!
