B-. . . . RUN DEFENSE

Ayyy, a non-failing grade! The run defense did pretty well on Sunday, even though they gave up a total of 104 yards. What I’m basing this grade off of is how well the Chiefs did at stopping LeSean McCoy.

McCoy was a name that scared Chiefs fans coming into this game, but Kansas City held him to just 49 yards off of 22 carries. Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor is known for his rushing abilities as well, but the Chiefs limited him to 27 yards off of nine scrambles.

After a few seasons of atrocious run defense, it was a great sign to see the Chiefs able to hold one of the best running backs in the league to under 50 yards. Now if only that could still be the case come playoff time.

One of the biggest weaknesses was one of the best parts of the game for the Chiefs, but can they keep it up for the rest of the season?
