K-State fans get to relax and watch their basketball Cats in action as they await for bowl announcements that won’t happen for another week.

More from Kansas State Wildcats

We will get our chance to do our best “SEC SEC SEC” impression as we get to root for Oklahoma to win the title game next week and get a Big12 representative in the college football playoff. Hopefully we also see an announcement on a succes

sion plan for the future. K-State is starting to really lag recruiting wise and naturally, the head coaches age is probably playing a factor.

However, there should also be the positive momentum associated with a somewhat surprising bowl bid. This team earned that opportunity and with how well K-State fans travel, it will be interesting to see if K-State Nation is up for another road trip and painting another town purple.

Next: Potential Replacements for Bill Snyder

There will be some time for reflection and what went wrong as well. It appears there should have been a much more concentrated effort to get Skylar more time before getting two quarterbacks hurt. It appears the wrong guys were starting at defensive end.

Overall though, it was a fun ride and anytime you can win with a game-ending touchdown on the very last play of the game, you take it!
