REASONS TO BE THANKFUL – NOT BEING A RAIDERS FAN

In the AFC West, belongs the good (Kansas City Chiefs), the bad (Los Angeles Chargers), the ugly (Denver Broncos), and the ugliest, which are the Oakland Raiders. Not to come off as a meanie-head and completely bash the Raiders, but any person is better off being a Chiefs fan.

Sure, the Raiders beat Kansas City early in the season, but did it not take like 25 tries at the end of the game to claim the victory? The Chiefs had won five straight games against Oakland before that game and always made Derek Carr look bad.

Before the 2016 season, the Raiders hadn’t been to the playoffs since the 2002 season. Not only were they always excluded from the postseason, the Raiders were downright awful during those times. At least the Chiefs would make it to the playoffs every few years and be competitive in certain seasons.

My logic is being a Chiefs fan sounds more enjoyable than watching the Raiders. People thought the Raiders owned a legitimate Super Bowl team in 2017. But, that seems like a bit of a stretch at this point in time.

Anyway, just be thankful about belonging to Chiefs Kingdom. It is a pretty safe and enjoyable route.
