Kansas City Chiefs fans didn’t think the New York Giants had much of a chance in this game, but wow were they foolish. The Chiefs lost 12-9 in overtime to one of the worst teams in football.

Being a Kansas City Chiefs fan is interesting. Some weeks, you’re on top of the world after an exhilarating victory (like week one for instance). Other weeks, you’re embarrassed by the performance of the Chiefs, and that was what this weekend was like.

The then 6-3 KC Chiefs were facing a 1-8 Giants team, who had just been blown out by the 49ers and who hated their coach. It seemed like an easy win for the Chiefs, who were coming off a bye and needed to right the ship against a bad Giants team.

Instead, we witnessed a lifeless Chiefs team. They were inept on offense and the defense bent just enough to give the Giants the win. It was one of the worst NFL games I’ve ever watched and the Kansas City Chiefs should be ashamed of themselves.

I really don’t want to hand out grades because honestly… Everyone should get a failing mark, but this is my calling, so here I am. Let’s get to this week’s report card.
