KAREEM HUNT – Kansas City Chiefs

Before reading on about the stud in Hunt, go back and memorize each of the other running backs drafted before Hunt. Fournette has the most yards, and touchdowns out of the names listed above, which makes since right? He was drafted before all of the other running backs for a reason, duh.

Now let me enter the name Kareem Hunt. Hunt has 800 total rush yards off of 155 carries, all while averaging 5.2 yards per carry. The closest to his rushing numbers is Fournette with 596 total rushing yards.

The 87th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft is completely silenting every scout who shied away from the college in Toledo University.

I am not here to state a case for Hunt, and wanting him to be drafted higher. That is not my goal at all. Fans should be glad that he made his way to Kansas City, as he proved to be the difference maker for this team in those first five games.

Hunt is something special. His balance after contact, his field vision, and his heart for the game make this athlete truly special. Fans expect Hunt to be a franchise running back in Kansas City, one that will continue to open every eye in the world of the NFL.
