DALVIN COOK – Minnesota Vikings

Dalvin Cook was drafted in the second round by the Minnesota Vikings. High hopes for Cook were sent his way, when the Vikings took on the running back early in the draft.

Cook produced 354 total rushing yards, with two touchdowns. Hence the past tense form of “produce” here – Cook’s rookie season was cut short after a season ending knee injury.

After producing solid numbers, Cook found himself on the injured reserved list in Minnesota, with a torn ACL in his left knee. Having such a talent in the backfield taken away instantly hurts the Vikings in many ways. When Cook was healthy, he showed flashes of being a great quarterback in the future.

It is safe to say, if Cook stays healthy, he will be a top-tier running back in the future. He might have had a short-lived rookie campaign, but the future is very bright for Dalvin Cook. He’ll help the Vikings offense next year and can hopefully stay healthy.
