Based off of the rookie campaign displayed by KC Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, one would think he was a top draft pick back in 2017, but he wasn’t.

A former third round pick, KC Chiefs rookie Kareem Hunt has had one of the best rookie debuts in the history of the NFL. Hunt is doing nothing but making a name for himself early on in his career.

The way this dominating talent out of Toledo University displays himself on the football field, one would think Hunt was an early first round draft pick in the 2017 NFL draft. However, this is not the case for Hunt, in fact – it is far from reality.

A name that was hidden by college standouts such as Leornard Fournette, Christian McCaffrey, and Dalvin Cook, Hunt quietly was dominating college football – yet no one seemed to noticed. Hunt was finally unburied in the third round, pick number 22 by the Kansas City Chiefs.

I think it is safe to say that the Chiefs struck gold in the late third round of the draft. One many be asking, “What about the other names drafted before Hunt? How are they doing?” Well, let’s take a look.

Now that I am done boasting about the Chiefs running back, imagine me dropping the mic, and awkwardly walking off the stage – because this is what I am also imagining.

*SPOILER ALERT* Kareem Hunt is better than all of the names drafted before him.
