Remember when everyone thought Jared Goff was a bust at the end of last year? The poor kid had spent the first half of the season on the bench and was then thrown to the wolves when he had no protection and no weapons to throw to.
Year two of the Jared Goff Experiment has been significantly better. Goff has currently thrown for 2,030 yards, 13 touchdowns, and just four interceptions in his sophomore NFL season.
This week, things will get better for Goff, as his Rams will host the Houston Texans. The Texans were rocking and rolling until their quarterback got injured. Now Houston’s season appears to be a wash, as their defense is a shell of its former self.
Goff had a field day agains the Giants, throwing for 311 yards and four touchdowns. This week, he gets a bad Texans D that has given up nine touchdowns on the road. Sign me up for Jared Goff in week ten!
