What was once the best defense in the NFL is now one that is included in my “Sit ‘Em” section. What has happened to the Broncos defense, you ask? Well, they’re coming off a complete and total butt whooping against the Eagles and before that, gave up 30 points to the Chiefs.
Life isn’t so grand for the Broncos defense anymore and for the first time this season, it’s a good idea to bench them. Normally I’d consider sticking with the Broncos, but Tom Brady and the Patriots are coming to the Mile High city and not many defenses have fared well against ol’ Tommy.
It’s crazy to discuss sitting what was once the scariest defense in the league, but the Broncos have looked human this season. Now they’re not as bad as their offense, but when it comes to fantasy football purposes, I’d avoid Denver’s defense this week.
