The Kansas City Royals could be losing a lot of players to free agency this offseason. Here are all eight players hitting the market this winter.

The World Series is over, which means it’s officially free agent season in Major League Baseball. The Kansas City Royals will see nine players heading towards free agency and this could prove to be a really painful offseason for Royals fans.

On the one hand, it’d be cool to bring back the big guns and try and keep this thing going. That won’t come easy though, as some of these guys are going to demand big bucks, more than what the Royals could dish out.

On the other hand, it might be best for the KC Royals to shut it all down and rebuild. Not necessarily start from scratch, as they still have talent with Danny Duffy, Whit Merrifield, and Salvador Perez, but to get the next core group of guys whether it be through the farm system or trades.

Whatever happens, Royals fans need to trust Dayton Moore. He’s turned this franchise around before and got them to two World Series and a trophy during that fun run. What else is Moore capable of doing in the second potential rebuild?

Let’s take a look at which guys are free agents this winter.
