RUN DEFENSE. F. . .

Gross.

C.J. Anderson is a good running back, but other teams had been keeping him in check recently. Not the Chiefs run defense though. They allowed Anderson to rack up 78 yards off of 15 carries and let the Broncos run game total 177 yards off of 31 carries. That is bad.

Kansas City should really hope that Ezekiel Elliott can’t play this upcoming weekend in Dallas or else it’s entirely possible that Zeke puts up 200 yards and three or more touchdowns. This run defense is that bad.

Had Denver ran the ball from the beginning and not given up on it midway through (until going back to it), they’d probably have won this game. The blue print on how to beat the Chiefs is to run the ball down their throats and force them to stop it. They haven’t been able to yet this year and that’s concerning.
