. . RUN GAME. F.

Is Kareem Hunt starting to wear down? The rookie running back hasn’t scored a touchdown since week three against the Chargers. He was stopped all night long in this one.

Hunt ended the night with just 46 yards off of 22 carries. The running game as a whole had 79 yards off 26 carries. Alex Smith was the only other ball carrier.

I know Charcandrick West hasn’t been the greatest option, but he should have gotten at least one or two carries in this game to shake things up. Hunt clearly wasn’t getting anything on the ground, so why not try and throw West in?

What I was glad to see was that the Chiefs did not give up on the run game. Hunt still got 22 carries and the Chiefs tried to keep running the ball as a part of their game plan. I can’t fault them for that.

What I will say, however, is that when your team has a ten point lead with the ball with under two minutes to go, take Kareem Hunt out of the game. We don’t need any unnecessary injuries.
