The Kansas City Chiefs finally got the stench of losing off of them, as they beat the Denver Broncos 29-19 on Monday Night Football. Kansas City now moves to 6-2 on the year.

Well, it wasn’t the prettiest of wins, but Kansas City Chiefs fans will take it for sure, especially after two gross losses. While the game itself wasn’t a great outing for the Chiefs, they still put up 29 points on one of the best defenses in the NFL. That is a huge accomplishment.

The Chiefs really should have put this game away early on, but decided to get cute with play calling instead. Tyreek Hill threw a pass (you read that right) that was intercepted in the red zone. Had the Chiefs just played it safe and ran a normal play, the worst it could have been at that point would have been 17-0.

Instead, the Broncos managed a field goal, and give Denver credit… They didn’t go away. At one point, the game was 20-13 and it really looked like the Broncos could potentially get themselves a victory.

Fortunately, Vance Joseph never benched Trevor Siemian despite the Northwestern quarterback throwing three interceptions and throwing for just 198 yards on the night (a lot of that coming in garbage time).

With a win in the books, let’s get to this week’s report card. Who passed and who failed? We’re about to find out.
