Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 8
SIT ‘EM
Speaking of retiring, Frank Gore needs to go in that category too and the Colts need to quit using him as their RB1. Marlon Mack was drafted as the next franchise running back for the Indianapolis Colts yet Indy keeps giving Fore opportunities.
Gore has yet to go for over 100 yards in any of his seven games this season and went over 50 yards just once. He has just two touchdowns on the year.
This week, the Colts will face the Bengals who are pretty good at stopping running backs from finding the end zone. Cincinnati has allowed just two rushing touchdowns in six games and that’s not a good sign for Gore or the Colts.
With the combination of the stingy Bengals run defense and the resurgence of Marlon Mack, this won’t be the last time that I suggest sitting Frank Gore. His reign of terror in the league looks like it’s coming to an end.
