Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 8

Are we beginning to see the end of Ben Roethlisberger‘s NFL career? He sure doesn’t look like himself this season and a stout Lions defense this Sunday night will be quite a battle for Big Ben.
Where Roethlisberger has really struggled over the last few years is on the road, and this game will take place in Detroit. The Lions have a great defensive unit and while the Steelers’ offense is pretty good, it’s not because of Roethlisberger.
We’re starting to see that Big Ben is no longer a must start option in fantasy football and that there are definitely some weeks where he should be benched. This week is one of them, as it’s a road game against a really good defense.
It’ll be weird if Roethlisberger does retire at the end of the year, as it’ll signify the beginning of the end of some of these great quarterbacks we’ve watched over the last 15 years. We could be looking at just that though. Sit Big Ben this week.
