Fantasy football rolls on this weekend with some fun games scheduled in the NFL. Who should you start and who should you sit as we hit week eight?

There’s been a lot of parity in the NFL this year regarding which teams have winning records. Teams like the Saints, Jaguars, and the Bills have taken the league by storm with their winning records and potential playoff hopes.

There hasn’t been parity with fantasy football. Sure, some new names have emerged as must starts (Carson Wentz, anyone?), but the same guys are performing to their high standards. Tom Brady is still Tom Brady and Antonio Brown is still crushing it for the Steelers.

Injuries are still occurring left and right too, as Carson Palmer is another big name who will likely miss the rest of the season. Hopefully you have someone decent to fill in for Palmer, but if not, someone like Tyrod Taylor could still be sitting on the waiver wire.

Let’s get right into the hit and miss of last week and then we’ll delve right into the Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em for this week of fantasy football.

LEIGH’S HIT OF THE WEEK – STARTING MARK INGRAM

Last week I called for Saints running back Mark Ingram to shine in Wisconsin against the Packers and shine he did. Ingram rushed for 105 yards off 22 carries and had one touchdown. The Saints suddenly look like the 2009 Saints again and New Orleans has to be pretty excited about that.

I also suggested sitting Orleans Darkwa and Martavis Bryant, neither of whom impressed for their teams. Darkwa had just 35 yards against the Seahawks while Bryant continued to make headlines with his one catch and three yard day versus the Bengals.

LEIGH’S MISS OF THE WEEK – SITTING JAMEIS WINSTON

Jameis Winston was injured and would be facing a stingy Bills defense. What good reason was there to start him? Oh right… The fact that he can throw the dang football pretty far.

Winston ended the day with 384 yards and three touchdown passes to just one interception. Sorry if you listened to me and benched Winston this week. I’ll take that L.

TEAMS ON BYES THIS WEEK: ARIZONA, GREEN BAY, JACKSONVILLE, LOS ANGELES RAMS, NEW YORK GIANTS, TENNESSEE

With so many teams on byes this week, Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em will be even more critical this week for those of you looking for fill-in players. So, let’s get to it!
