The Kansas City Chiefs falling to fourth is far from the biggest controversy in the Sports Illustrated power rankings. It’s also worth noting that Jacob Feldman gave his first place vote to the Chiefs. So there is still some belief in this Kansas City team.
I mentioned that the Chiefs ranking wasn’t the biggest controversy here. Yeah, the biggest (in my book) is pushing the Patriots all the way up to the top spot. I don’t know how you even justify that when the Eagles are still sitting with just one loss (and that being to the Chiefs…who the Patriots also lost to).
Kansas City should be able to get back to the top of the rankings here. I don’t have much faith in the Pats winning out. Plus, if both teams are winning, you have to give the edge to the team that won head to head, right (I know, I know…didn’t apply here)?
