Ouch. The Kansas City Chiefs go tumbling to the fourth spot in the NFL.com power rankings after back to back losses. That’s not totally without justification though. You judge the team as they are, not as they were. Right now, the Chiefs are losing football games.
Eagles? Sure. Steelers? I can but it. Rams? That might be pushing it for me. Maybe it’s just my preconceived notion of what the Rams and Chiefs are supposed to be, but I can’t buy LA ahead of KC right now. Then again, I did just say you have to judge the teams as they are…
I think it’s worth noting that even NFL.com saw Amari Cooper‘s touchdown as a clear push off. Goodness that officiating crew was awful on Thursday night. The Chiefs have to put all that behind them though. There were still chances to win that game. It’s all about looking ahead now.
