Developmental wide receiver oozes potential

Demarcus Robinson, a former 2016 fourth round pick out of Florida University displayed a flash of productivity despite a loss in Oakland. Robinson was targeted eight times, and caught five of them Thursday night.

A major loss in teammate Chris Conley to an achilles injury, Robinson filled in admirably. With those five completions, Robinson turned those catches into 69 total yards on the field. The loss of Conley seemed to be a killer, but when there is talent on the sidelines as talented as Robinson – The Chiefs show just how deep they really are.

Besides his catching ability, Robinson strives for contact. For example, go ahead and click the play button on the video listed below. You will not be disappointed.

Robinson has been waiting patiently  for his time to come where he is a go-to receiver in Kansas City. The stars are aligning for Robinson to display his talents at a professional level.

Perhaps the most exciting aspect to Robinson is he chemistry displayed with teammate Mahomes during preseason competition. So, if Robinson stays consistent for the Chiefs, expect him to eventually find himself as wide receiver number one in the near future.

Robinson and his role within the organization may grow soon, as it creates an interesting development for the young talent.
