The Offense

Can you imagine this offense existing the previous five years with the defense the Chiefs had?

I suppose it’s nice to have an imagination.

Alex Smith is an elite quarterback. I said it. He has potential to be even better. The weapons the Kansas City Chiefs have can make anything happen.

Alex Smith finished with 342 yards passing and three touchdowns.

Smith had two touchdown passes of over 60 yards. A 64 yard bomb to Tyreek Hill on the far sideline and a 63 yard ricochet to Albert Wilson.

Tyreek Hill hauled in six catches for 125 yards to go with that touchdown.

Travis Kelce grabbed the other touchdown dispersed by Smith.

Kareem Hunt did it again. For the seventh consecutive game to start his career he surpassed 100 yards from scrimmage.

Hunt tallied 87 yards on 18 carries including four catches for 30 yards.

Demarcus Robinson will be one the most added players in fantasy football this week. He had five catches on eight targets for 69 yards. The same amount of targets as Tyreek Hill.

The offensive line played decent for the majority of the game unless your name is Eric Fisher.

Fisher struggled throughout the game, eventually allowing a crucial sack toward the end of the game.

All in all the offense did exactly what they needed to. Any time you can score 30 points you have put your team in position to win.
