Even after a big game against a really good Broncos defense, I’d hold your horses on slotting in Orleans Darkwa as your RB1 this week. I’m a big advocate of not starting guys immediately after they have the game of their career and Darkwa falls into that category this week.
Darkwa had 21 carries for 117 yards last week in the Mile High city, but the match-up won’t be easy for him to repeat in week seven. No, Darkwa and his Giants teammates get an even tougher defense this week in the Seahawks.
Seattle’s defense has limited opposing running backs to just three rushing scores so far this season. Considering that Orleans Darkwa didn’t find the end zone last week could imply that he just had good luck a week ago.
In other words, if you picked him up, good for you, but I’d sit him this week.
