SIT ‘EM

2. player. 28. . Wide Receiver. Raiders. Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper has been even more disappointing than his quarterback this year and until he shows some signs of life, I wouldn’t recommend starting him. Cooper did have a whopping (sarcasm) five catches last week, but for only 28 yards. Hey, that’s an improvement over his four total catches from weeks three through five.

Cooper has not found the end zone since week one and fantasy owners have every right to be frustrated. The Raiders looked to be going places last year, mostly due to their high-powered offense, but they’ve really dropped off this year.

With Carr struggling as it is, don’t rely on Amari Cooper to get you many points this week. I’d keep him on the bench until he has that breakout game his fantasy owners are waiting for.
