Glass half full

The Kansas City Chiefs played horrible and yet they almost won this game. If any of those focus points previously mentioned would have gone the other way the Chiefs would have won the game.

Through all the negativity, lost yardage, dropped passes, missed tackles and poor tackling the Chiefs were in the game.

Not only did the Chiefs play bad, but they played bad with many starters that didn’t suit up.

The Chiefs are fine. They are who we think they are. The offensive line play is a concern, but the Chiefs have plenty to look forward to as the season moves on.

Andy Reid would love to have some of those plays and some of those decisions back, but hindsight is 20/20. He went for the touchdown because he trusted his offense to make the play.

Teams lose and that’s ok. Every Super Bowl Champion has lost at least a game during the season minus the Dolphins. It isn’t the end of the season.

The Chiefs have played some really good teams so far and have beat all of them but one. Pittsburgh is an achilles heal for the Chiefs.

For the Chiefs, Oakland is next in just a few days. They have to shrug this one off and keep on keeping on.

The Chiefs are just fine.
