Kansas City Chiefs: Report Card Vs Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6
That performance was pure garbage from the Chiefs run defense. Le’Veon Bell of the Steelers had more rushing yards than the entire Chiefs offense had in one half of play. That’s embarrassing.
If I never have to watch Le’Veon Bell play football again, I’d be perfectly fine with that.
The rushing defense has continued to struggle this season, giving up nearly 200 yards on the ground to Pittsburgh. The Steelers knew after awhile that Ben Roethlisberger didn’t need to throw much. All he had to do was hand the ball off to Bell and the running back would get something done.
Bell finished the day with 32 carries for 179 yards and a touchdown. He continues to be the kryptonite for this Chiefs team and if I never have to watch Le’Veon Bell play football again, I’d be perfectly fine with that.
While the Raiders aren’t a scary run team, it appears that all teams are taking advantage of the Chiefs lack of stopping the run, which they should. It’s a fool proof strategy. They’ll get Marshawn Lynch on Thursday, which could be a horrendous sight to see for Chiefs fans.
