#26 – PG – Devon Dotson

Along with De Sousa, and McCormack, if the Jayhawks land Devon Dotson, this team will own a top 10 recruiting class, regardless of the decision of Williamson, and Grimes.

Dotson brings speed, superb ball-handling, and crafty finishes around the rim to his jaw-dropping game. Dotson will make immediate impact for the team if he were to commit to Kansas. The number 26 overall player in the 2018 recruiting class is quietly gaining stock into his game, as he finds his name becoming known nationwide.

Recent tweets put out by Dotson, and recruiting analysts seem to indicate that he is down to Maryland and Kansas. Dotson announced via twitter he will making his college annoucement the thirteenth of October.

Losing Devonte’ Graham, Svi Mykhailiuk, and possibly Malik Newman (NBA Draft) ends a chemistry that will be missed in Lawrence. But, if the Jayhawks can pull off Dotson, and Grimes in the front court – watch out. Along with transfers Charlie Moore, Sam Cunliffe, and leader LaGerald Vick, the front court in Kansas will be top notch, per usual.

Expect Dotson to select the Jayhawks Friday night, though do not be shocked if he chooses Maryland – they were his final offical visit before he tweeted his announcement date.

Prediction:

Kansas Jayhawks

Why?:

The Jayhawks have walked the trail to get a hard commit from Dotson for quite a while. Coach Self loves his game he produces. Dotson appears to love the Jayhawks as well.

Recruiting Class Ranks:

#26 overall, #6 Point Guard
