#13 – SG – Quentin Grimes

The elusive 6-4, 185 lb senior is a superstar in the making. Quentin Grimes‘ smooth jumper from deep, and explosion attacking the basket creates horrific match-ups  for opposing teams.

Recently, Grimes cut his official list to four schools for where he wants to play college ball  – Kansas, Texas, Kentucky, and Marquette.

Kansas has been the favorites for a long time, and still hold themselves atop of the three other schools. It seems Grimes is the player that is the most guaranteed to end up in Lawrence.

Losing key assets of the front court in 2018 will hurt the chemistry in Lawrence, but with a player as dominating as Grimes coming to Kansas, it would be a huge gap filler for the Jayhawks.

Prediction:

Kansas Jayhawks

Why?:

The Jayhawks are the leaders for Grimes now, and have been the leader for months. Grimes might as well play high school ball wearing Kansas across his chest.

Recruiting Class Ranks:

#13 overall, #2 Shooting Guard

Crystal Ball Prediction:

Kansas Jayhawks: 100%
