SIT ‘EM

. Running Back. Panthers. Jonathan Stewart. 3. player. 87

Basically everything that I said for sitting Christian McCaffrey applies with Jonathan Stewart as well. The Panthers running back was limited to just 21 yards on 18 carries last week and has only racked up 251 through five games.

In other words, Stewart hasn’t had a great season and his breakout game won’t be coming against an Eagles defense that held the Cardinals in check. Stewart has slowed down and the Panthers haven’t really been able to get the rush game going much since last year.

If you have Stewart on your team, I’d keep him on the bench this week. He and McCaffrey are splitting carries and neither are really getting a lot of production. One of the two is bound to break out, but the Eagles run defense isn’t going to be the week to expect it to happen.
