Kansas City Chiefs: The Day After Sunday night’s win at Houston
By Chris Taylor
4th Quarter
For the second time in the game the Chiefs drive ended at the Houston 17 yard line. Enter Harrison BUtker for his fourth field goal of the game.
Houston only needed five plays to close the margin. Watson found Fuller for the second time of the game, this time for a 48 yard touchdown.
The Texans pulled within six as the game’s momentum seemed like it was going to swing the Texans way.
The Chiefs answered with their own scoring drive. A 23 yard run by Hunt and more stellar passing by Smith set the Chiefs up at the ten yard line. A shovel pass to DeAnthony Thomas turned into six points for the Chiefs.
The scoring would continue for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs forced the Texans to punt after three plays. That’s when Tyreek Hill ran to the near sideline following his blockers. No one would catch him as nobody catches Hill, ever. It was the first special teams score of the season.
Watson threw for a couple of garbage time touchdowns before losing the game officially. Butker would add one more field goal and Hunt would eclipse 100 yards once again. Chris Conley ruptured his Achilles late in the game.
