UGLY:  TUCKER MCCANN

It was not a good night for Tucker McCann, who missed two field goals in Lexington. The final score ended up being 40-34. Are you doing the math? If so, you should be angry.

Had McCann not missed those field goals, the Tigers would have only needed a field goal to win the game. Even if he’d just made one, they’d have needed a field goal to tie things up or could have went for a touchdown to win the game in the final seconds.

McCann hasn’t always been perfect for Mizzou and this performance didn’t exactly instill confidence for future games. If the Tigers are in a bind and need a last second field goal, it’ll sure be a nerve-wracking few seconds for Missouri fans, as McCann is just very unreliable.

I couldn’t list the slow referee at the end of the game as “Ugly” because frankly, Missouri had plenty of opportunities to win this game and they couldn’t capitalize. Good teams find ways to win and bad teams find ways to lose. We’re really starting to see this Mizzou football team as bad.
