Mizzou Football: Good, Bad, Ugly Vs Kentucky Football
GOOD: PASSING GAME
Drew Lock hasn’t had the type of season that Tiger fans were hoping for, but he lit it up again against the Wildcats. Lock went 22 of 42 for 355 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions on the night. This was his best game since that week one game against Missouri State.
Lock’s receivers showed up big too, but Emanuel Hall stole the show. Hall had four receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown, leading the charge for the black and gold on Saturday night. His teammates had nice games too, as Johnathon Johnson had six receptions for 97 yards and J’Mon Moore put up six receptions for 86 yards. Both had touchdowns as well.
With the lack of offense over the past few games, seeing Lock figure it out was a good sign. He looked much more confident this week than he did in the team’s previous three losses, but the final drive of the game wasn’t exactly a great showing from the MU quarterback.
Mizzou might have dropped this one, but the offense showed signs of life and that’s definitely a positive.
