Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 5

Kelvin Benjamin went to work against a lousy Patriots defense in week four, but things won’t be nearly as easy for him in week five. The Panthers will go up against the Lions and Darius Slay has been magnificent at keeping top receivers out of the end zone.

Benjamin has yet to score a touchdown this season and went for over 100 yards for the first time a week ago. The Panthers offense has been struggling and that should only continue against a top-ranked defense in the Lions.

For those expecting Benjamin to build on that week four campaign, I wouldn’t count on it. We’ve seen how bad the Patriots defense is, especially their secondary. The Lions are much better at defending the pass and with a struggling Cam Newton and company, Benjamin probably won’t get a ton of targets this week.
