START ‘EM #2

Wide Receiver. Patriots. Brandin Cooks. 2. player. 47. Projected Points: 9.4

For those people who have Brandin Cooks on their team, so far it’s been a little disappointing. He had one great week, which came against the Texans in week three, but otherwise has been pretty quiet.

This week, Cooks will square off against a Bucs secondary that gave up 288 yards to the Giants a week ago. Odell Beckham had 90 yards receiving, but didn’t find the end zone. Eli Manning isn’t Tom Brady though, so if Brady can find his number one target as much as Manning found OBJ, then Cooks surely should get a touchdown.

So far this season, Cooks has 13 receptions for 294 yards and two touchdowns. He had a big game against the Texans in week three and owners should be patient with him. His breakout is coming and it could very well come in primetime against Tampa Bay.
