B. . LB/DL. Kansas City Chiefs. RUSHING DEFENSE

It wasn’t an amazing performance by the Chiefs run defense, but considering how dominant the Redskins looked on the ground the two games prior, I’d say Kansas City held their own in that department.

Washington finished the night with 26 carries for 111 yards, but the Chiefs defense kept the Redskins rushers out of the end zone. That ended up being the difference with their grade here.

The Chiefs limited any running back from having a big night, but the Redskins all together put up about the same numbers. The most embarrassing stat actually is the fact that Kirk Cousins had the most rushing yards on the night with seven carries for 38 yards. He was doing some damage with his legs.

Kansas City’s run D was dreadful last year, so this game was easily a breath of fresh air after the crap we watched a year ago. Hopefully they can continue to improve in this department, as some great running backs are coming up on the schedule.
