C-. . CB. Kansas City Chiefs. MARCUS PETERS

I’m giving Marcus Peters a passing grade here, an average one at that, but this was one of his weakest performances since his rookie year. Peters was burned for two touchdowns, both of which were pretty well covered, but after one of them he started jaunting at a fan in the stands. That’s just unnecessary.

Corners get beat sometimes and he needs to find better ways to vent his frustrations.

The first touchdown was a perfectly thrown ball by Kirk Cousins to Terrelle Pryor and also got beat by Ryan Grant for Cousins’ second score of the evening. We don’t see Peters get burned a lot, but he had a bad game on Monday.

The reason he gets a C rather than a flunking grade is because he’s shown that he bounces back from these types of games. Plus, both plays were really good throws by Cousins. Peters had the scoring player covered well, but sometimes those throws just go the other way.

Peters does need to cool it on throwing hissy fits though. Corners get beat sometimes and he needs to find better ways to vent his frustrations.
