The Kansas City Chiefs are 4-0 after taking down the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. How did the team look in their 29-20 victory?

Undefeated feels good, doesn’t it, Chiefs Kingdom? It’s been pretty remarkable watching this Kansas City Chiefs team so far this season, as it doesn’t even appear like all cylinders have been clicking for the team quite yet. Can you imagine how good they’ll be if/when that happens? Holy eff.

This wasn’t the prettiest of wins, but it was a win against a really good Washington Redskins team. I give Washington all the credit in the world in that game, as they nearly knocked the Chiefs off at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football. Fortunately that didn’t happen.

With another victory under their belts, it’s time to check out the grades from this game! Who passed and who failed? Let’s take a look.

. . . FIRST QUARTER. F-

Nothing went the Chiefs’ way in the first quarter. On the Redskins first drive, they marched 75 yards down the field and scored in just six plays that ended with a Terrelle Pryor touchdown. That was his first touchdown of the season.

It sure was looking like signs of a blowout early on.

On the Chiefs’ first drive, Alex Smith was sacked, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif was injured and left the game, and the Chiefs had to punt. The crowd was silenced, especially after the Redskins had another successful drive, this time capped off by a field goal. It was 10-0 before Chiefs fans even knew what hit them.

Near the end of the first quarter was when it looked like the Chiefs were finally starting to move the ball, but it sure was looking like signs of a blowout early on. Kansas City’s defense couldn’t stop the Redskins, and the Chiefs offense were failing to move the football.

Old Chiefs teams would have allowed a blowout to ensue, but not this group. They got it going soon after, thankfully.
