You had better believe that I’m not passing up a chance to rub this one in people’s faces. All offseason, I was flooded with talk about how the Kansas City Chiefs needed to cut Albert Wilson. The whole way through I argued that it wouldn’t happen, and that the Chiefs were right to keep him on the roster.

Not only was I right about the Chiefs not cutting Albert Wilson, it turns out I was right about them needing to keep him. Wilson had a few quality plays on the night, including an absolutely crucial third down conversion that helped Kansas City pull off the win.
Andy Reid called Albert Wilson the unsung hero of the game, and he is right. Wilson isn’t the kind of guy who is going to light the world on fire, but he has proven that he can come through in key situations. Last night was just another example of that.
