Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 4
SIT ‘EM
It might seem crazy to bench Carlos Hyde after his last two games, but he’ll be facing the Cardinals defense this weekend and it just doesn’t sound like a great match-up for him. He might have 253 yards and two touchdowns already this season, but bear with me on this one.
Arizona only allowed 80 yards on the ground to the Lions in week one, 76 yards to the Colts in week two, and mostly kept Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys run game in check until the end of the game. Even with Elliott’s big plays near the end, Dallas still had less than 100 yards on the ground.
With all of that said, Hyde will have his work cut out for him in this one. The Cardinals are good at stopping the run and we’ve seen just how bad the 49ers offense is as a whole (playing the Rams doesn’t count). San Francisco will be keen on running the ball with Hyde, but the Cardinals should sniff that out early on.
Carlos Hyde might seem like someone you want to start, but think about who he’s squaring up against this week. It could be wise to sit him.
