Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 4
SIT ‘EM
People were excited to see what Jameis Winston would look like in year three of his NFL career and so far… He’s just been meh. His touchdowns and interceptions both sit at three and he has 532 yards passing through just two games (remember – the Bucs didn’t play in week one).
Winston struggled a bit last week in Minnesota, throwing all three of his 2017 interceptions, but as a result, he passed for over 300 yards. His recent struggles, however, have me concerned for starting him in week four.
One of the biggest reasons for that is because Famous Jameis will be throwing against the stout Giants secondary, which has held all three of its opponents to under 30 points so far this season. The Giants are bad because their offense is bad, not because their defense is suffering.
Winston will probably get picked off a time or two against New York, so if your team gets hurt for turnovers, then avoid him this week. Even if you don’t, I wouldn’t pencil him in as a starter. This game could be a nasty one for ol’ Jameis.
