Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 4
START ‘EM
Emmanuel Sanders is clearly one of Trevor Siemian‘s favorite targets, already with 16 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns on the year. Sanders will be excited to face a lousy Raiders secondary that allowed 365 yards through the air a week ago, with Chris Thompson getting 150 of those (yeah, the Redskins running back).
While Siemian isn’t nearly as talented as Kirk Cousins, he’ll still be able to take advantage of poor coverage when it shows itself. As such, Sanders is a no brainer to slot in as a starting wide receiver this weekend.
Sanders’ best campaign of the season came in week two when he had six receptions for 62 yards and two trips into the end zone. He’ll look to have another multiple score campaign on Sunday in Denver and will absolutely have the ability to put up some points in this one.
The only worry with starting Sanders would be if Siemian was struggling and while the former seventh round pick out of Northwestern isn’t great, we’ve seen him have some big games. When he does have those big games, Emmanuel Sanders is his right hand man.
