Kansas City Chiefs. 2. team. 124. They have been the most impressive team in the AFC so far. They are third in scoring offense at 31 points per game and seventh in scoring defense at 19.0 a game.. (3-0). Previous:
You actually have to give some credit to Pete Prisco and his CBS rankings here. For the few of you who didn’t know, Prisco picked the Kansas City Chiefs to finish dead last in the AFC West this year. Now you know that Chiefs Kingdom hasn’t let him forget that. In fact, it was enough to get Prisco to submit and admit being wrong.
Pete Prisco still puts Kansas City behind the Atlanta Falcons in his current rankings. That’s fair enough, as you can argue for either team right now. Most of the rankings around the country seem pretty split on the Chiefs and Falcons at #1 and #2.
KC has looked impressive over their first three games, but there is some room for improvement still. We’d all like to see the Chiefs tighten up when it comes to the penalties. However, there is no doubt that this team is looking good right now.
