SIT ‘EM

. Running Back. Packers. Ty Montgomery. 1. player. 49

Ty Montgomery has always been a weird player to me. He was a wide receiver and now he’s the starting running back for the Packers. I’m not sure why that’s so hard for me to comprehend, but it is.

Anyway, I’d sit Montgomery if you have him this week. The Bears are surprisingly good at defending the run, limiting the Steelers rush attack to just 70 yards on the ground. Le’Veon Bell had 61 of those yards.

Montgomery also hasn’t been all that impressive recently. He’s yet to go for over 100 yards in a game this season and last week only gained 35 yards on the ground off of 12 carries. Montgomery is slowing down for Green Bay and he does not have a favorable match-up for this week’s game.

Another thing to note is that Ty Montgomery is dealing with a wrist injury, though he is likely to play this week. That’s definitely something to consider for this game.

Sit Montgomery if you have him on your team.
