Defensive Backs: Los Angeles

With Eric Berry absent and lots of questions opposite Marcus Peters‘ side of the field, the Chiefs defensive backs are not an attractive bunch on the field.

Give me Jason Verrett, Casey Hayward and Tre Boston any day over Ron Parker, Phillip Gaines and Terrance Mitchell.

Chargers are more talented here.

Special Teams: Kansas City

The YoungHoe Koo experiment has yet to work out for Los Angeles.

A special teams unit that has Tyreek Hill returning punts, Cairo Santos kicking through the goal posts, and Dustin Colquit pinning teams back with strong accurate punts wins here most of the time.

If DeAnthony Thomas doesn’t get back to 25 yard line this week I’m leaving the special teams segment off from here on out. I’m guessing newbie Akeem Hunt will get his share of returns, and he won’t disappoint.
