In what will be the 155th meeting between the the KC Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers, the two teams are set to clash in Hollywood Park.

The Kansas City Chiefs lead the overall series against the Chargers 58-55-1. Considering the amount of games the two have played, it turns out to be a tight series. This season finds the two teams to be on opposite ends of the win/loss column. In fact, the Chiefs have won the last six meetings against Los Angeles.

Many thought the Chargers could win the division before the season started. After two weeks, they find themselves two games behind the rest of the AFC West. The KC Chiefs come into the game having already knocked off the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. Let’s take a look at how these two teams match up.

Quarterback: Kansas City

Alex Smith has never accomplished the numbers that Philip Rivers has put up. He’s never even gotten close, but this season has a different ring to it. If a person were to ask me which quarterback I want right now between the two, my answer would be Smith.

Alex Smith has thrown for 619 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions so far this season. Philip Rivers has thrown for 523 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.

The stats above aren’t far off from each other, but as far as confidence, Alex Smith takes the cake.
