Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 3
SIT ‘EM
Jimmy Graham is almost always a must start for fantasy owners. The only exception to the rule is if he’s banged up a bit, which unfortunately happened last week in Seattle.
Graham is suffering from an ankle injury, according to ProFootball Talk and has missed practice as a result. While he’s not ruled out at the moment, I wouldn’t bank on him playing. Even if Graham does suit up and take the field, he’s likely not going to be 100% on the field.
We’ve seen how badly this Seahawks offense has struggled to this point, so the chances of Russell Wilson targeting an injured Jimmy Graham aren’t the likeliest. Fortunately, there should be some other decent tight ends on the market if you need one to fill in for Graham.
Graham is normally a for sure starting option, but when he’s hurt, I wouldn’t risk it with him. Pick up another tight end before Sunday’s slate of games.
